Lifer 04:20
Now you know I can't stop thinking about you Sometimes I think about you all the time, all damn day And all that time you were watching me love You saw me wreck my car in the parking lot that day I wrote a song like this many, many years ago It has the exact same chords that I'm using now To many times I get to thinking about you And I've forgotten what I'm supposed to do and say I wonder how long I can live without your love Actually, I have your love I just don't have your time And I wonder how long I can stand to be… Without you The one that you wanted to be Without you The things that you wanted for me And now you're here, you stand in front of me love It's like time stood still… you and I we didn't miss a day And although its been twenty years since I first laid my eyes upon you You still have the same way of taking my breath away I wonder how long I can live without your love Actually I have your love I just don't have your time And I wonder how long I can stand to be Without you The one that you wanted to be Without you The things that you wanted for me

Lost to me Can anybody find it? This thing we want This thing that’s real You were lost to me But now I finally see I’ve had you all along It’s a cognizant thread And can anybody find me? Cause I’m not home And does anybody understand The way I love? Like an unbroken horse Well you sold your house I was really hoping we could live Out our days together Wearing golden robes Well it’s a tragedy All you had to do was ask me What was in my heart And I’d be yours And can anybody find you? Cause you're not home And does SHE understand the way you love? Like an unbroken horse This is not the first time that I loved you This is not the first time that I lost you Baby, baby, baby, now that I've harnessed this love Ride away with me this time Ride away with me this time Lost to me Can anybody find it? This thing we want This thing that’s real You were lost to me But now I finally see I’ve had you all along Its a cognizant thread And can anybody find us? Cause we’re not home And does anybody understand The way WE love? Like an unbroken horse

The trees they do grow high and the leaves they do grow green Many is the time my own true love I’ve seen Many an hour I’ve watched him all alone He's young but he's daily growing Father dear father you've done me great wrong You've married me to boy who is too young I’m twice twelve and he is but fourteen He's young but he's daily growing Daughter, dear daughter I’ve done you no great wrong I’ve married you to a great lord’s son He’ll make a lord for you to wait upon He's young but he's daily growing Father dear father if you see fit We’ll send him to college for one year yet I’ll tie blue ribbons all around his head To let the maidens know he's married One day I was looking or my father’s castle wall I spied all the boys a-playin with the ball My own true love, He was the flower of them all He's young but he's daily growing At the age of fourteen he was a married man At the age of fifteen the father of a son At the age of sixteen his grave it was green And death had put an end to his growing…

Lady Mary 04:30
He came from his palace grand. He came to my cottage door His words were few but his looks will linger for evermore The look in his sad dark eyes more tender than words could be But I was nothing to him, and he was the world to me There in her garden she stands, all dressed in fine satin and lace Lady Mary so cold and so strange, who finds in her heart no place He knew I would be his bride, with a kiss for a lifetime fee But I was nothing to him, and he was the world to me And now in his palace grand, on a flower strewn bed he lies His beautiful lids are closed o’er his sad dark beautiful eyes And among the mourners who mourn, why should I a mourner be For I was nothing to him, and he was the world to me

Oh she’ll take of the black dress And put on the green For she is forsaken and only nineteen lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai, lai lai lai lai lai lai For she is forsaken and only nineteen Oh he courted her and he kissed her And he made her heart warm And then when he left her He laughed her to scorn lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai, lai lai lai lai lain lai And then when he left her He laughed her to scorn For we’ll build her a cabin On yon’ mountain high Where the wild birds can’t find her Nor hear her heart cry lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai, lai lai lai lai lain lai Where the wild birds cant find her nor hear her heart cry Take warning Take warning young ladies pray do For you are quite lucky that this is not you lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai lai, lai lai lai lai lain lai For you are quite lucky that this is not you…

Rainbows 05:15
It's safe we move in circles We lie so easy to ourselves Our safety is in numbers We put our joy back on the shelf I gave up my future I stayed home and built this nest I had to learn the hard way That I'm first not second best! But now I'm feeling my way Make the most of all my days Yeah, I make the rounds I make the sounds And you can meet me there Cause I can’t live in a world I can’t chase rainbows And I won't live in a place I'm not myself Now I’ll take all Your sweetness I'll take all your charm I'll create my future I’ll take only the best you've got Cause now I'm feeling my way Make the most of all my days Yeah, I make the rounds I make the sounds And you can meet me there I can't live in a world I can't chase rainbows And I won't live in a place I'm not myself

Birdwatcher 03:18
Oh tell me of this thing called love Is it certain for real? Tu êtes doux , Tu et libre Comme les oiseaux... que tu observez ENGLISH TRANSLATION Oh tell me of this thing called love Is it certain for real? Should I believe the girl in the trees? To even the birds you are all woman Oh love, my missing heart The bird is in the woman With her head in the clouds she can see my soul My heart, Is this for real You are gentle and free like the birds that you watch Should I believe the girl in the trees or will you fly away like the birds that you watch?

West 03:34
It’s funny our mommas were best friends It’s funny you in that beat up old van It’s funny the very first time we met It’s not funny though, that very first kiss ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh Love will find a way Im moving west now, I'm movin' west, He’ll come find me I’m moving west now. I'm movin' west, its were I wanna be I'm moving west now. I’m moving west, he’ll come find me Or am I far too gone? I can't complain You cannot feel the love without the pain Am I far too gone I can't complain You cannot feel the love without the pain No one to blame And I will wait for you My faith won’t leave me a second time And I will wait for you So come on love, I know you feel it too Don't you feel it too Or are you… Far to gone? You can’t complain You cannot feel the love without the pain Are you far to gone you can’t complain You cannot feel the love without the pain No-one’s to blame I'm movin' west now, I'm moving west, he’ll come find me…

Swept Away 04:32
I cannot find you You're just a dream I’m standing by you But you're not here with me You receive me It’s in your eyes The way I want you I can’t deny tonight Because I was swept away Like the very first time we met And this love it rushed through me Like the tide upon this sand And I’ll feel you like my brother, like my lover, like my friend And my love it will endure until the end… my friend So I’ll wrap my dreams in a silken cloth And I’ll hide them away in a precious silver box And if you find it; I cannot say But I’ll hope and I’ll pray that love’s gift won’t come to late Because I was swept away Like the very first time we met And this love it rushed through me Like the tide upon this sand And I’ll feel you like my brother, like my lover, like my friend And my love it will endure until the end… my friend So should I stay here or stand alone? Would you be willing to one day oh, take this on? What kind of life could we have then? Would we be able to pay the wages of our sin? Because I was swept away Like the very first time we met And this love it rushed through me Like the tide upon this sand And I’ll feel you like my brother, like my lover like my friend, And my love it will endure until the end… my friend And my love it will endure until the end my friend

Take time to appreciate Be quiet a few minutes everyday Take life less seriously In time baby you'll see I’m expecting you my love To look inside yourself Release those fears forget your doubts I’m expecting you I’m expecting you my love Forgive and understand Remember baby you're a man And I understand Last night I acted foolishly I can’t wait for you to see what I see It’s humorous of you to practice what I preach I’m lost the second we meet Look inside and you'll see You have the power that you need I know you're generous and kind Be thankful what you left behind I’m expecting you my love To look inside yourself Release those fears forget your doubts I’m expecting you I’m expecting you my love Forgive and understand Remember baby you're a man I’m expecting you

In The Fire 03:58
I've got more than enough time to write melodies And always time is on my side So I'm taking back all the pain you've given me There's nothing there that I didn't desire And I'm throwin' it in the fire No fear no fight - to purify Throwin’ it in the fire for your love No fear no fight to - glorify I'm sure that you know that I'd do anything Yes, anything for your love So I'm letting you go digging an early grave Set our love free to fly above And I'm throwin' it in the fire No fear no fight - to purify Throwin’ it in the fire for your love No fear no fight to glorify

Widow's Walk 04:29
I climb the ladder o’er the widow’s walk As many times allows the day When we were young and you a sailor I felt our story was forever. And on this cold and misty morning I know can I feel you here I can feel you all around me I hear your voice sing through the gales And I’ll wait, and I’ll yearn, and if nigh high I’ll fly over your ocean. I keep watch o’er the horizon I fear the calm before the storm Cause time and tide it waits for no man And hull and keel are easily torn I see you standing at the helm Amidst the swell and plunging seas “Hand over fist! Hail to the harbor! All sheets to the wind!" I’ll wait, and I’ll yearn, and if nigh, high I’ll fly high over this ocean! Now your ocean bound glory It runs through my veins Yet, I still cry! I still holler! And he still sails from love and laughter! But with the the knelling word Upon this high perch I will fly high over this ocean I will fly high over our ocean! I climb the ladder o’er the widow's walk…
